Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Mohol organized Skill Development Training Programme on Goat Rearing for farmers and rural youths of KVK, Mohol jurisdiction at KVK, Mohol during 22-25 September, 2020. At this event Technical Sessions on Importance of Goat rearing, Entrepreneurship opportunities, Selection of breed, Scientific management practices, Feeding management, Vaccination schedule, Fodder crops cultivation, Government schemes, Preparation of project report were organized and Exposure visit was held at Goat Rearing unit of successful entrepreneur at Mohol.

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Mohol organized Skill Development Training Programme on “Honey Bee Rearing” in collaboration with ATMA, Solapur for farmers and rural youths of KVK, Mohol jurisdiction at KVK, Mohol during 22 – 25 January, 2020
At this event Technical Sessions on “Entreprenurship development and steps in Enterprise establishment, Entrepreneurship development skills and SWOT analysis, project reports preparation and different government schemes” by Shri. A. G. Dighe, SMS (Agril. Extn.), “Requirements, equipment and their handling for beekeeping, Importance of beekeeping and honey industry features, Species of Honey Bee, Honey Bee colony, Components, Management of mellifera bees, economics and schemes of the honey industry” by Shri. P. K. Palvencha, Madhukshetrik, Maharashtra State Khadi and Village Industries Board, Solapur, “Importance of beekeeping in crop production and useful crops for beekeeping” by Dr. S. G. Jadhav, SMS (Agro.), “Life cycle of bees, species of bees and their specialties, Bee Disease and Health Management” by Shri. P. N. Madavi, SMS (PP), “Beekeeping products and their packaging, labeling, branding and sales management” by Shri. D. N. Kshirasgar, SMS (FST), “Success story by honey bee entrepreneur, clean honey production, types of honey and its benefits” by Shri. Rahul Deval, Founder of Deval Honey Pvt. Ltd., Sangali. During this training programme, Exposure visit was organized to Honey Bee Unit of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Baramat, Dist. Pune accompanied by Shri. P. N. Madavi, SMS (PP) and Shri. N. B. Jadhav, Farm Manager. Shri. A. G. Dighe, SMS (Agril. Extn.) look after as Training Co-ordinator for this event.
