Farmers FIRST – RKVY Project

Project Cost: 57.06 lakh

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Mohol is working on Farmers FIRST Project on “Bacterial Blight Disease Management in Pomegranate” under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY) in the villages Konheri, Tal. Mohol and Aadhegaon, Tal. Mohol.

Following villages are selected as operational villages for the project

• Konheri, Tal. Mohol
• Aadhegaon, Tal. Mohol

After preliminary discussion and baseline survey 100 farmers have been selected for adaptive trials. F & H visits were conducted in these villages and technical guidance was provided to the farmers on “Bacterial Blight Disease Management in Pomegranate” during Hasta Bahar.

Projected Output from the Project

• To aware farmers about scientific management of pomegranate orchard.
• To minimize the loss in production due to Bacterial Blight Disease in Pomegranate
